Of course, when printing on various yarn types, there are differences between the processes applied and the dyes used in the machines. These printing types are basically divided into two as digital printing on cotton fabric and digital printing on polyester fabric. Our in-house digital printing machine prints on all fabric types except polyester fabric. We can also divide dye types into two as pigment and reactive. Although both are produced from the pigment root, the pigment and reactive dye are different from each other with the components they include. It would not be right to make a comparison between them, but there are pros and cons of both types of paint, of course. When printing with reactive dye, we need to make many preparations before printing on the fabric. These preparations are bleaching, paste, steam, fixation and washing processes. And in each of these processes, a lot of water is used. The process when printing with pigment ink is very simple; We can proceed to the printing process without the need for any pre-treatment or post-processing on the white or requested ground color fabric. Pigment paint is a type of paint that is very advantageous in many respects, easily applicable, and has high quality, high washing fastness, is budget-friendly, can be printed more in a short time, and most importantly, it saves water. This situation makes pigment printing much more useful, easy to produce, sustainable, and by saving water, minimizing water usage, and thus it reveals itself as an environmentally friendly printing type.
